First Show – Entries close for starting breeds at 7:30 a.m.

Show will begin at 8:00 a.m.

Other breed entries should be completed by 9 a.m.

Second show will begin at the completion of the first show.  All entries for the second show must be finalized prior to the start of the second show.

Building will be open by 6:00 a.m.

This show is OPEN sanctioned by ARBA, ISRBA and Illinois Lop Club.

 This show will require a separate entry form and remark cards. 

 

SHOW RULES

 

1.        This show will be governed by the latest ARBA rules.

2.        NOTE!  On Saturday, April 19th, STARTING BREEDS will be:  Mini Rex, Wool Breeds, Dutch, Thrianta, Harlequin, English Spot, Florida White.   CRRBA All-Breed Show is DAY OF SHOW ENTRY.  All starting breed entries will close at 7:30 a.m.  Judging will start promptly at 8:00 a.m.

3.        On Sunday, April 20th, STARTING BREEDS will be:  French/English Lop, Flemish Giant, Satin, Californian, New Zealand, Meat Pen/Single Fryer.  CRRBA All-Breed Show is DAY OF SHOW ENTRY.  All starting breed entries will close at 8:00 a.m.  Judging will start promptly at 8:30 a.m.

4.        SPECIAL ATTENTION:  This is a double show.  To be exhibited in both shows an animal must be entered twice – both on an official entry sheet and a completed remark card and entry fees paid for both shows.  Any animal which goes on the judging table with a remark card and is judged, that is found NOT to be have been entered on the official entry sheet when reports are done after the show will be considered a non-entered animal and any placement voided.

5.        Youth to follow Open where possible.  Youth rabbits to be handled by youth exhibitors.

6.        Only ARBA two (2) piece remark cards will be accepted.  Entry sheets may be either ARBA (2) piece or computer generated.  REMINDER – A double show requires 2 sets of remark cards!

7.        All entries Open and Youth must be permanently and legibly tattooed in the rabbit’s left ear.  This includes peat pens and single fryers.

8.        The CRRBA reserves the right to add or substitute judges in case of the inability of the hired judge(s) to act.

9.        Diseased animals will not be permitted in the show room.

10.     CRRBA reserves the right to refuse entries from all locations within 150 miles which has had a confirmed outbreak of RCD/RHD/VHD within the past 60 days of the entry deadline.

11.     No one is allowed behind the show tables except duly appointed officials.

12.     CRRBA and the Amana Events facility will not be responsible for loss by fire, theft, etc.

13.     Ribbons for CRRBA Show (Open & Youth) will be available to 3rd place.  Be sure to pick them up as they will not be mailed.

14.     Parents:  Know where your children are and what they are doing.  You will be responsible for any damage they do.

15.     No consumption of alcoholic beverages in the show room.

16.     Youth may show in both open and youth but may not show the same rabbits in both shows. 

Late specials will be posted in the show room.

OFFICIAL IOWA STATE SANCTIONED SHOW – OPEN & YOUTH

The Iowa State Rabbit Breeders Association, Inc.  Myron Dinsdale Secretary/Treasurer, 112 North Main Street, Traer, Iowa 50675-1028.  Individual Membership is $10.00 per year.  Two party, same address $13.00; Youth, $6.00; Family $13.00 with each youth $2.50.  All memberships run January 1st through December 31st.
